Eforie Nord, 14km south of Constanta, is the first large resort south of the city. Beaches are below 10m to 20m cliffs and are as crowded as in Mamaia. Tiny Lake Belona, behind the southern end of the beach, is another bathing spot.

The centre of the resort is concentrated on the promenade that takes you to the beach it is the only street taking you to the beach as the resort lies a bit above sea level. Of course you can also get to the beach from the main road that connects Eforie Nord to the other resorts and many locals choose this way as they enjoy quieter places. They come by car from Constanta for example and stop by the beach and enjoy and in the evening they return.
